Volkswagen Service and Product Days

The Volkswagen service and product days 2018 consisted of four parallel tours, covered eight
German cities between August and October, involved over 5,000 participants and included
approx. 8,000 test drives. Guest-One was commissioned by Munich-based agency Lux-
Service to provide support during the events at which salespeople and service advisers got to
grips with new products at VW’s own training centres.
After designing name badges and pre-producing lanyards using the event layout, Guest-One
set up a web-based accreditation solution made to ensure that participants were checked in
swiftly. Instead of the name badges being produced in advance and displayed on site, they
were produced at the touch of a button once each guest had arrived before the guest was then
checked in.
Guest-One’s test drive management system was also used later on during the events. Details
of the daily test drives were recorded and documented by scanning the vehicles and drivers
using smartphones and an app, which had been configured accordingly. Thanks to well-
designed processes and intuitive systems, all the technology could be operated locally by
hostesses. Guest-One was only on site for the first three event days in each city, brought in
and configured the systems and provided the staff with appropriate training on site.
